jazzknitting workshop II: a continuation. . . .
In this shorter workshop, returning jazzknitting students will meet together and continue their individual jazzknitting explorations. Students can try new forms or delve more deeply into their developing area of interest. If you'd like to try knitting beads into your work, bring large seed beads that have a hole big enough to accommodate your yarn. If you'd like to explore working with thicker yarn for larger sculptural forms, bring needles several sizes smaller than needles you'd use for that weight. If you'd like to make a beaded net for sewing your knittings onto, bring thread or monofilament pre-strung with many tiny seed beads and some extra large needles. If you'd like to try your hand at seashells, we'll reexamine all the ones in the bowl and find a place to start. If you have other art forms you're thinking of incorporating jazzknitting into, this would be a wonderful time to bring samples or pictures of your work so we can talk about ways to integrate the two.
